Today I’m taking on my first ever 12 hour solo. Why? Well, in September, we’ll be racing Marji Gesick, a savage 100 miler in the upper peninsula of Michigan that will probably take me 13-14 hours. So I figured I should probably see what it feels like to race for 12 hours. I have a plan, I’m prepared and…then reality hits.
