Sing, Bing, Sing (My Hide Away; The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, Lovable, Snuggled on Your Shoulder) - Bing Crosby, vocal - Soundtracks from Mack Sennett's two reel comedys freaturing Bing Crosby - Biograph BLP-M-1-B tracks 16,17,18,19
I purchased this album 45 years ago and have found it to be a great record to go back to. It features the soundtrack songs from the 6 films that Bing made for Mack Sennett. I selected the 4 tunes that were featured in the Sennett 2 reel comedy "Sing, Bing, Sing.", which is my personal favorite from that era. It was filmed during the summer of 1931 but not released by movie distributors until 1933. This is Bing Crosby the newly minted singer who was beginning a solo career after leaving the vocal trio The Rhythm Boys and the gig with Gus Arnheim's Orchestra. After filming was finished in August he would begin his nationwide radio show that propelled him to super stardom. He never looked back.

The film Sing, Bing, Sing is available on YouTube if you want to see the young crooner in some of his earliest film appearances.
