Batroun is a coastal Lebanese city, located 50 km north of the capital Beirut, and 29 km south of Tripoli. It has a great potential for tourism. I had the pleasure of diving with Mayor of Batroun Mr. Marcelino Hark and Mr. Kamal Graig, the SSI Instructor and Manager of Batroun's Dive the Med Club (very qualified, friendly and professional dive center). The dive site is located north of Batroun. Shallow cave about 10-15 meters deep. It was an extraordinary experinece. Scuba diving is one of many things that you can enjoy in Batroun and no doubt Batroun is the best place to do it.
