We Had 1 Day in Kutaisi, Georgia! 🇬🇪

On our long journey back to our home in the US, we had to make a stop in Georgia. We flew into the Kutaisi airport, with it's cheap flights. With one full day to explore the city and surrounding areas, we tried our best to make the most of it.

We started the day off by driving north into a conservation area, in search of a good hiking trail. After realizing the area was only for guided tours, we had to find our own way in, which we did... by driving down a terrible road.

The road eventually led to a small "trail" that we followed as far as we possibly could until we were attacked by the tribe.

We then headed back into the city and stopped at a restaurant that was recommended by the owner of our hotel, in which we got some Georgian food! We explore the city's downtown a little by going through the main square and then checking out the bazaar.

After checking out the downtown of the city we had to head to, what seemed to be, the best view of Kutaisi, the Bagrati Cathedral. There was actually a decent amount of area to explore around the cathedral which we found really cool, but also possibly dangerous. This was the final event of our day before we were off with a very long drive to our final stop for this vacation, Gori!
