Welcome to Georgia! This country in Caucasus region lies at the crossroads between Europe and Asia. It has a rich and diverse history, with influences from Persia, the Ottoman Empire, and Russia, and is known for its wine, unique cuisine, stunning mountain landscapes, and ancient monasteries.

In this documentary, we’re exploring the central and western regions of the country, starting in the mountain paradise of Kasbegi, also known as Stepantsminda. This hidden gem offers breathtaking natural scenery and a rich history. From the ancient Gergeti Trinity Church, which lies in the shadow of Mount Kazbek, to Ananuri Fortress, to the gigantic stone heads in the village of Sno, this is a unique adventure like no other.

Then, we’re heading deeper into the heart of Georgia as we explore historical fortresses and monasteries, idulge in Georgian food and wine, and experiencing local culture in incredible towns like Ateni, Gori, Kutaisi, Obcha, and Ozurgeti. From the ancient cavel towns near Gori, to the glorious Colchis Fountain in and Green Bazaar Kutaisi, we’re exploring multiple aspects of Georgian culture.

The cuisine here is rich and flavorful, so we’re also diving into local staples like chakapuli, nigvziani badrijani, and khachapuri. So get ready to experience the Caucasus Region like you never have before, and come with me to central and western Georgia!
