The Practicello | INVENTORS | PBS Digital Studios

Описание к видео The Practicello | INVENTORS | PBS Digital Studios

Cello players who travel usually have to buy an extra airplane seat for their instrument if they want to do any practicing while they're away. To get around that, Ernest Nussbaum has invented a collapsible cello that fits in the overhead bin. It lacks the full body of a proper cello, so it's not very loud, but that's a feature, not a bug, since it means you could practice in a hotel room without disturbing your neighbors.

'Inventors' is a series of portrait videos by filmmaker and photographer David Friedman, chronicling the work of contemporary inventors from all walks of life. It offers rare glimpses into the inspiration for their creations, which range from the first digital camera and first video game console to a drive-able amphibious ice-fishing vehicle.
