Jajpur is an ancient town located in Odisha, yet not many know about it. In this video, we’ll explore the history of the town, along with numerous places to visit in Jajpur district. The district has some ancient Hindu Temples like Biraja Mata Temple, Barahanath Temple and, Jagannath Temple, and is also famous for its Buddhist sites - Ratnagiri and Udayagiri.

Jajpur isn’t just famous for its Hindu temples and Buddhist sites, it’s also a leader in handicrafts. There are four main crafts - Tussar Silk, Golden Grass, Pottery and stone carving, out of which Gopalpur in Jajpur also has a GI Tag for Tussar Silk.
