Today I'm testing out Sohla's recipe for Cinnamon-Date Sticky Buns, part of the Basically Better Baking series, developed from the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen. These sticky buns are the final recipe in the Basically Baking series, so you may expect these to be complicated -- surprisingly, these come together quite simply! These cinnamon buns are easy to make with only a few ingredients and some basic beginner techniques. You do need a bit of time as this dough likes to rise for at least 8 hours - plan on making it the night before if you want to eat these for brunch! The fluffy soft texture of these sticky buns was absolutely worth the effort. Hope you enjoy the video.

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. vanilla paste or extract
