Y Gribin Scramble in The Glyderau: Easy or Not?

I chose this grade 1 scramble as there was some ice on the mountains, and as I was scrambling alone, I wanted a route that offered the option of an easier line. (taking a right hand line away from the steep edge reduces the risk of a fall on this route).

Y Gribin is a delightful hiking and scrambling route that starts near Llyn Bochlwyd and finishes on a plateau between the popular summits of Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr.

I've always found this route easy and trouble-free but there was a fatality about a year ago.

What do you think if this route? Some say it's easy while others mention the fatality last year. Let me and others know via the comments section.
