On 16th June 2022, Douglas McGowan MBE gives a short speech onboard Waverley at Arrochar during her 75th anniversary cruise. Captain Dominic McCall and Douglas McGowan MBE then cut the anniversary cake.

On the same day 75 years ago, Waverley made her first voyage up Loch Long to Arrochar.
