Hey beautiful people, in this video I go through the pros and cons of the Barbell Hip Thrusts VS Smith Machine Hip Thrusts VS Hip Thrust Machine.

Barbell Hip Thrusts:
PROS CONS
-Can go heavy -Imbalances or injuries could occur if not done with correct form
-Good range of motion -Setting up and unracking the weights
-Can set it up to suit you

Smith machine hip thrusts:
PROS CONS
-Easy to rack weights. -Short range of motion therefore less time under tension.
-Easy to focus on contracting the glutes as stabilizer muscles not involved as much.

Hip Thrust Machine:
PROS CONS
-Hardly Any Set up Required -Some machines can be uncomfortable therefore unable to go heavy.

These are just some of the pros and cons between these different hip thrust variations however they are all good at growing the glutes and finding which one works best for you is all about trial and error as everyones body structure is different.
