Ring around the rosie, a pocket full of missiles. This gameplay showcase will give you an idea of how the preset AC CANDLE RING plays in Armored Core VI PvE, through a mixture of missions and Arena battles.

CANDLE RING is the Armored Core of Ring Freddie, a member of the Rubicon Liberation Front. Paramour to the RLF's leader, Thumb Dolmayan, Ring Freddie takes up arms to protect and serve his idol, no matter the cost. Although given the state of the RLF, such an endeavour may cost Freddie everything...

- The preset AC CANDLE RING shown in the video is unlocked by defeating 21/D Ring Freddie in the Arena. -

One wonders why the Elcano Foundry didn't just churn out the Fortaleza Tank Legs; if every AC pilot of the RLF had one of these then they would have run right over the corps and PCA combined! Ring Freddie supplements this incredibly mobile frame with a simple yet powerful arsenal to ensure the strength of the CANDLE RING.

Sure, the SONGBIRDS aren't the insane monsters they once were, but they still deal fantastic stagger damage and solid impact damage in droves. The handheld missile launchers are a surprisingly good complement to the SONGBIRDS, clearing out smaller enemies with ease and keeping the pressure on both bosses and ACs. While you may not have a definitive "finisher" like an ASHMEADE or Stun Needle Launcher, the CANDLE RING's arsenal should see you through no matter the mission.

It's hard to identify a problem with the CANDLE RING, but I suppose the P10SLT FCS is pointless on a machine that uses missile launchers with such a short lock-on time - the TALBOT, P05 or WLT would have supplemented the SONGBIRDS a fair bit better. In any case, the CANDLE RING is a highly mobile, high damage-dealing AC that can tangle with the best of them, with the great EN management of the YABA and bonus protection from Pulse Armor helping to cover the mech when it lands in trouble. A high recommendation.

| This is by no means a "guide" to show you how to play the AC; I'm sure there are far better players than me who can do more with these mechs. I just want to show off some cool mechs in the style of @bansheent-d Armored Core For Answer videos.

(NOTE: In order to see a preset AC in the Assembly or Paint tabs of the garage: make sure to first enter the Paint tab, saying "Yes" to removing the edit lock. Then back out of the Paint tab, making sure to "Discard" changes and not save. Now, re-enter the Paint tab and you can see the exact colours of the preset AC! (however, decals will not transfer over.))
