VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction
[1:32] Presoaking the fiber overnight
in plain tap water (with no acid)
[3:07] Arranging the fiber in the pan
[4:35] The dyes
1% stock solutions of Dharma Cabernet, Deep Magenta, and a Red I mixed with Deep Magenta + brilliant Yellow
Dilute the dyes with some plain tap water - I picked the amount of dye by feel
Add 1 T white vinegar to each of the dye cups to help apply acid to the fiber.
[6:47] Dyeing the fiber
[12:15] Heat setting the fiber
Add 3-4 more T of white vinegar
[12:42] Reacting to my spill
[16:11] After heating for 20 minutes, Cover with foil
[19:18] Washing the roving
[22:48] the finished dry fiber and conclusions
