This World Tourism Day 2020, our Solomon Airlines staff are sharing their message to raise awareness of the challenges the airline and tourism industry are facing. Like airlines everywhere, Solomon Airlines has been heavily impacted by the international border closures due to COVID-19 and our operations will unavoidably be smaller for some time to come. Our survival currently depends upon Government support and intermittent revenue from charter flights and reduced domestic flying, as we wait till it is possible to reopen Solomon Islands borders and begin regular operations again.
