AMplified Host Aisha Mills on Far-Right Rally in Washington D.C.

U.S. Capitol Police and the federal government are prepping for a far-right rally on Sept. 18 in support of those arrested on Jan. 6.

According to a report obtained by the New York Times, intelligence officials are concerned that the rally could turn violent. A homeland security official wrote, "We are aware of a small number of recent online threats of violence referencing the planned rally, including online discussions encouraging violence the day before the rally." Officials expect around 700 people to attend.

Aisha Mills, who is anchoring a new show premiering on Sept. 20 on BNC called “AMplified with Aisha Mills,” joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the event and her show.
