2021 Fall OTC Elk Hunt in the backcountry of Idaho - Part 1.

We were fortunate to fill 1 tag on opening day even with multiple wolf packs in the area.

After we came down from spike camp, we found multitude of elk tracks as if they were running.
During our descent, we found 1 lone elk wandering in the timber...possibly hurt.
It seemed that this lone elk was separated from the herd.

In our next video, Part 2, we continue our elk hunt attempting to fill 2 more tags.
