Kevin's Story

Kevin is a 15-year-old boy from the Netherlands living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He enjoys gaming with friends online, visiting the beach, going to the movies, and swimming. Every Friday, Kevin swims as part of his physical therapy routine. Kevin also adores his three cats named Pepper, Nala and Zorro.

Kevin's parents noticed that he was struggled a little more on the playground than other children. After physical therapy treatments that left them with questions, Kevin's mother found out that Duchenne muscular dystrophy was in the family. They had Kevin tested and discovered he had Duchenne.
