Tutorial on how to make a basic potae (hat) from NZ Flax (Phormium Tenax) - there are many other ways of making hats (the way they start) but the brim is mostly always the same. Please note: my videos are aimed at people who already have some experience in NZ Flax Weaving (and in particular with the lock off (or cast off) at the end so I do not go into much detail there - enjoy watching and weaving and if you have any further questions you can contact me on www.flaxworx.co.nz or facebook (flaxworxNZ) but if you want really detailed tutorials maybe sign up to a actual class as there is so much more you could learn from that:-)
