Eurovision 🇬🇧 Birmingham 1998: The results with a 50/50 jury-televote split.

This scoreboard looks at the results of the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, had there been a 50/50 split between jury votes and televotes.

On the night, all countries used a televote, apart from these four:

02. 🇭🇺 Hungary
03. 🇷🇴 Romania
04. 🇹🇷 Turkey

This website (http://www.kolumbus.fi/jarpen/fjury98...) holds the back-up jury data for nine countries* who actually used a televote:

03. 🇪🇸 Spain
04. 🇮🇱 Israel
05. 🇩🇪 Germany
06. 🇨🇾 Cyprus
07. 🇸🇪 Sweden
08. 🇫🇮 Finland

To calculate my result for the scoreboard, I used jury data from the following 12 countries...

02. 🇫🇷 France
03. 🇪🇸 Spain
04. 🇸🇰 Slovakia
05. 🇩🇪 Germany
06. 🇭🇺 Hungary
07. 🇷🇴 Romania
08. 🇨🇾 Cyprus
09. 🇸🇪 Sweden
10. 🇫🇮 Finland
11. 🇳🇴 Norway
12. 🇹🇷 Turkey

... and televote data from all remaining countries, apart from Israel (in order to get 12.5 countries using a televote and the other 12.5 countries to use the jury).

Out of the nine countries* who had both jury and televote data made available, Israel was picked at random to have their results calculated from both jury votes and televotes.
