Dr. Manjunath Sukumaran is a Functional Health Coach, the Chief facilitator and the Founder of Harmony Wellness Concepts. After a successful career in veterinary clinical service for 12 years he rerouted his career to human nutrition and health coaching. A graduate of Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York, he has trained thousands of people in Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellness. He is certified by The Institute of Functional Medicine, Cleveland in 'Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice' and also a member of International Association of Health Coaches. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Health from Kerala University of Health Sciences

Sunil Mangalassary is a Professor of Food Science and Associate Chair of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science at California State University, Los Angeles. Sunil received his Ph.D. in Food Technology from Clemson University, South Carolina, emphasizing food safety. He completed his post-doctoral research in Food Packaging in the Packaging Science program at Clemson University. Sunil received his BVSc & AH and M.V.Sc in Veterinary Public Health (VPH) with an emphasis in meat science from the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Mannuthy. During his five-year stay as a faculty of meat science at Mannuthy Veterinary College, he was a member of a team that established the first center of excellence in meat science and technology in India.

Sunil has been living in the US for the last 23 years, and his current research interests include post-processing food safety, including the development of biodegradable antimicrobial food packaging polymers. He has been directing a food science program for the last 13 years at his current job. He teaches food microbiology/safety, food packaging, animal products technology, and other food science courses. Sunil has been a member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), a major international organization in food science, member since 2006. He is the incoming chair of the IFT Southern California Division. Sunil has published manuscripts in food science and food safety. He is interested in food and its relationship to culture, politics, and the environment. He has published a book chapter, “Indian Cuisine – The Cultural Connection,” where he explored the origins and cultural connections of Indian cuisine.
