Tibialis Anterior | Trigger Point Release | Self Help

Описание к видео Tibialis Anterior | Trigger Point Release | Self Help

When the Tibialis anterior is contractured by trigger points, your foot can’t clear the ground during stride; your toes may catch and drag and ankles may be “weak” and their motion painful. These trigger points also send pain and tenderness to the front of the ankle. This pain can spill over to the top of the big toe, and be misdiagnosed as gout. In some cases the big toe can hurt so much you can’t wear shoes. There may be severe burning pain from the knee down the leg to the foot that may be called “anterior shin splints.” These trigger points symptoms can worsen when climbing stairs or steep hills, or otherwise stressing the muscle.
