India is such a unique civilization with a parallel to no other civilizations. There is not a single civilization in the world today whose subsistence, continuity, is as unbroken as India’s. This is the only country in the world where the same literature is read which was read 2500 years ago. Even today the same languages are spoken, the same words used, which were used 2500 years, 3000 years ago. Even today you will find the same art forms, same words, same songs which were found 2500 years – 3000 years – songs which were sung, literature read on this land even 4000 years before. And this continuity,despite India being colonized by foreigners for almost a thousand years.
