Craig Hester here from R2Awatches.com. Today we will be talking about the newest Expedition North Pole One Collection from Vostok Europe. These watches are a big deal because this is the first time VE has ever done a solar-powered watch.

There are two models, both with a VS57 Seiko movement in this new style. One showcases beautiful iridescence, and the other deep, gorgeous blue PVD. Both come with a leather and silicon quick-change straps.

These watches measure in at 47 mm. They have a 90 day power reserve, and because they are powered by the sun, you never have to worry about replacing a battery. They both also have a 24 hour subdial, amazing lume, and utilize the K1 mineral system, which gives them nearly the scratch resistance of sapphire and the shatter resistance of mineral.
