BRADY 14 x 6.5 Jarrah Ply Snare Drum (Early 1990's) Soundcheck by Bryan Macaranas

Описание к видео BRADY 14 x 6.5 Jarrah Ply Snare Drum (Early 1990's) Soundcheck by Bryan Macaranas

There's a reason why Brady Drums are regarded as some of the best drums in the world, a pride of Australia in fact. The company's founder / chief drum maker Chris Brady revolutionised the ply shell and block shell method of construction of drums. Often imitated, but rarely matched by similar makes from other brands. For someone like me who owns a lot of snare drums, getting hold of a Brady in the studio is a welcome treat - but this one is FOR SALE. So what way to truly represent such a drum, by taking it to task, and hopefully capturing that 'Brady sound' through its various tunings. What a drum! Body, crack, volume and projection; its got it all. It's going to be a challenge not keeping this drum in my own collection.

Recorded at Dirty Laundry Studios Brisbane QLD, Australia MAY 2024
