This is the longest and most complex stop motion I have made. It took about 6 months to complete. I was inspired by the story of Australian general Sir John Monash, who revolutionised battle strategy, in his plan to recapture the village of Hamel from the Germans. in the end the Australian and US troops took the town of Hamel
I began researching the battle, then writing a script and storyboarding the whole sequence.
I used SMSP on an iPhone 8, i used 12 frames per sec.
