When was the last time you were at a wine tasting and someone described a wine having notes of ‘Banana’? Blackberries, yes; plums, yes; even rice gets a mention on your average wine list – but bananas? Not so much. That’s the really special thing about banana wine – it’s so small scale. You won’t find it in any store, because it isn’t mass-produced, so if you’re lucky enough to be offered a glass, you can be fairly certain that the wine has been lovingly produced by your host themselves, or picked up on an exotic expedition. Either way, the distinctive sweetness and tropical notes of the wine will bowl you over and give even the most seasoned wine expert a completely new tasting experience.

Banana Wine is more of a health tonic and helps control your blood pressure while aiding digestion. This fruit wine recipe is loaded with potassium, manganese, and vitamins and is most favored by the health-conscious people. Now get ready with the below ingredients and let's start watching the video on how to prepare this wine.

1-kilo robusta banana
10 grams of raisins
3 to 4 pieces of cinnamon
5 to 6 pieces of cloves
3 dry red chilies
10 to 12 pods of cardamom
Half teaspoon of yeast
Two liters of drinking water

About Me:
Hi there! This is Jerry from Travel Chef. Starting a YouTube channel on food was a spark that struck me like having a delicious lemon souffle (pun intended) while I was having my masala dosa, and watching my mom and my wife cook. It struck me as to how to remember my mom’s recipes who is now 80 plus -- and, how do her children, daughter in law and grandchildren follow these recipes? After which all will be lost in time... Since me and my wife like travel and food, dad (above 85) suggested “Travel Chef”, and voila!, Travel Chef was launched. So, Travel Chefs' main priority is to capture the forgotten and authentic recipes that take place in each and every household and bring it to the entire world. By subscribing to our channel, please join us in our quest to have a glimpse of our hidden recipes. Bon Appétit!
