President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. pays tribute to the memory of his father, the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Marcos Monument in Batac City, Ilocos Norte on September 11, 2024.

Prior to the ceremony, the President and the First Family attended a Thanksgiving Mass at the Immaculate Conception Parish-Batac.

Following the wreath-laying program, President Marcos Jr. joins the participants of the 'Natnateng Cook-Off Showdown,' a culinary event that showcases various signature vegetables dishes in the Province of Ilocos Norte as part of the Marcos Day Celebration.

Today's events mark the 107th birth anniversary of 'Apo Lakay' which honors the life and legacy of the 10th President of the Philippines.
