“I'm very glad that we can see that there's progress that is happening as we move on in preparation for, well, filing is our next big event… Although we are the lead party, kasama tayo sa Alyansa na kasama ang iba't ibang partido. Lahat ng malalaking partido sa Pilipinas ay kasama ngayon natin. Kaya we have to do all of this in conjunction with them,” stated President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. when he keynoted the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) General Assembly and National Convention in Manila.

In the past few months, the Chief Executive has witnessed alliance signing ceremonies between the PFP and other national political parties, which served as a tangible expression of the shared commitment to work towards transformation aimed at fostering progress and uplifting the lives of every Filipino.

The President called on the PFP and election hopefuls to be prepared as all Party members, including those from different groups who have recently joined the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’, are set to convene this month in preparation for the May 2025 elections.

“Mas maganda sana kung maayos ang ating election, maayos ang kampanya, maayos ang election. Pero alam naman natin, pag nagsimula na ‘yan, wala na, bakbakan na ‘yan. So it's not something we can control completely,” he said in his address.

“But what we can control are the things, the elements that are needed by our party members. That is why we have had this meeting today. Para mabuo na natin ang leadership ng partido, para pwede nang humarap sa leadership ng iba't ibang partido,” he continued, underscoring further the importance of forming a secretariat to properly coordinate the schedule, logistics and other needs of the ‘Alyansa’ as the national election draws near.

He noted that this is not the first time that the PFP has met with other political parties and that issues and other concerns are being attended to every day. Nonetheless, he reminded the Party to be well organized, saying that “Kahit na magaling ang kandidato mo, kahit na marami kang, handa kang gumastos na malaki, kahit na maganda ang survey mo, ‘pag hindi naging maayos ang kampanya mo, wala rin mangyayari”.

“Kapag naging maayos ang usapan natin together with the other parties, mas magiging maliwanag ang election even down to the municipal level,” he added.

“I think we just keep up the good work and I think we will be successful. Kaya patuloy lang natin. Alam naman natin ‘yan. Ang kampanya, especially at the local level, talagang sipag at tiyaga,” President Marcos Jr. emphasized in his message.
