N.B.C. Mystery Movie Theme (Mancini) a.k.a. Columbo Theme - VST COVER

The mystery: What instrument was actually used for that "whistle" sound?
I wouldn't know but after about a week of research, there seem to be two camps, 1) Yamaha Y-30 (or C-80 - this is what I used) OR 2) ARP 2600.
Out of curiosity, I just made another version with the ARP and ... I must say that it sounds closer to the original. Stay un/tuned!
