2 giorni in Val Chisone: 4 – da Cesana Torinese al Sestriere

Per ritornare al Sestriere da Cesana decido di seguire la strada provinciale 215 che, costeggiando il torrente Ripa, passa per i comuni di Bousson, Rollieres e Sauze di Cesana. Lungo la strada si incontra il bivio per la Valle Argentera, ora chiuso al traffico auto per neve. La Valle Argentera, percorribile nella bella stagione tramite una strada, accessibile alle auto, per raggiungere dei bei posti con cascatelle, prati, boschi, un piccolo sito archeologico e anche un rifugio dalla quale si gode un bel panorama. Se si vuole andare in auto si deve pagare un biglietto all'ingresso del costo di 5 euro, a piedi non si deve nulla, dopodiché si può campeggiare ovunque e per tutto il tempo che si desidera, è presente un punto wc.
Dopo il bivio la strada per Sestriere comincia a salire, passando il comune di Grangesises. Questa è quindi la parte di percorso con uno splendido panorama sulla valle e sulle montagne circostanti, con in primo piano il Monte Gran Roc, alto 3.121 m slm.
Dopo un breve tunnel, con il passaggio regolato dal semaforo, si raggiunge Sestiere.

To return to Sestriere from Cesana I decide to follow the provincial road 215 which, running alongside the Ripa stream, passes through the municipalities of Bousson, Rollieres and Sauze di Cesana. Along the road you come across the crossroads for Valle Argentera, now closed to car traffic due to snow. The Argentera Valley, which can be explored in summer via a road, accessible to cars, to reach beautiful places with waterfalls, meadows, woods, a small archaeological site and also a refuge from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. If you want to go by car you have to pay a ticket at the entrance costing 5 euros, you don't have to walk anything, after which you can camp anywhere and for as long as you want, there is a toilet point.
After the crossroads, the road to Sestriere begins to climb, passing the municipality of Grangesises. This is therefore the part of the route with a splendid panorama of the valley and the surrounding mountains, with Monte Gran Roc, 3,121 m above sea level, in the foreground.
After a short tunnel, with the passage regulated by the traffic lights, you reach Sestiere.
