Aspen Plus: Thermodynamics of the water gas shift reaction

WGSR is employed in Haber-Bosch process, steam reforming, partial oxidation, autothermal reforming, gasification, methanol and dimethyl ether syntheses, Fischer-Tropsch process, ironmaking process in a blast furnace, and so forth.

We use Aspen Plus to determine:
Equilibrium constant in the temperature range of 200°C…1000°C
CO, H2O, CO2 and H2 in the temperature range of 200 °C… 1000 °C and at
different values of steam/CO ratio
