5 Types of CPA Canada Exam Cases

Описание к видео 5 Types of CPA Canada Exam Cases

When you open your CPA Canada exam case, what format is it going to be? Is it going to be a lengthy narrative with AOs? Is it going to be dialogue format? This "unknown" may be adding to your nervousness for the CPA exam. In this video, I show 5 different types or styles of cases that CPA authors use when preparing cases. Understanding these will help reduce your surprise. Here are 5 most common types:
► (1) The Classic: Common in Core 1, it has a narrative followed by appendices. The narrative includes background info, user info, and requireds
► (2) The Short-form: The narrative is brief, with the first appendix providing background information and AOs. The narrative often takes up only 1/3 of the page.
► (3) Chit Chat: This dialogue format is a discussion between users, with AOs included in the dialogue. It appears in Core 1, Core 2, CFE, and other levels. Day 1 of CFE always uses this format.
► (4) Email format: The narrative is an email with embedded requireds. Authors might include sticky notes, text message bubbles, etc.
► (5) Presentation: This style features a presentation followed by a discussion or additional information.
