The Arran Ferries

Описание к видео The Arran Ferries

With a wee trip planned it was time to see what both sides of the island of Arran had to offer and with it, both of the ferry services that run to the island. We start at Ardrossan where the chartered MV Alfred was sitting before the arrival of the Caledonian Isles into Ardrossan Harbour took centre stage. Having boarded the Caledonian Isles for the sailing to Brodick we departed heading across the Firth of Clyde on a lovely calm day before arriving into Brodick passing underneath the mountain of Goatfell. Having had a little bit of time in Brodick the next stop was a bus to Lochranza where after a wander about there it as time to board the MV Catriona for her sailing to Claonaig, after crossing over the Kilbrannan Sound we arrived at one of the more exposed slipways on the network before the Catriona left allowing me to get a bus up to Tarbert where I ended the day.

Hope you enjoy!
