M/S Teams walking onto pitch England in white. M/S Queen walking towards camera to take her place in the royal box. C/U Queen. L/S Scotland kicking off from right to left they kick off the ball is passed back to McKay. C/U Man in crowd L/S England attacking Jimmy Greaves has the ball he passes back from Robson to run onto Robson shoots. L/S as the ball leaves Robson's foot and Goes into the net score one-nil. L/S Crowd cheering. L/S England attacking on the right Armfield has come right up field with the ball he enters the Scottish penalty area. M/S Slow motion Armfield centre the ball beats Haffey rolls right along the goal line a Scottish defender misses it and Smith misses and easy chance and the ball roll harmlessly away. M/S Crowd. L/S Scotland attacking on the right the ball is centred Springett comes out of his goal and jumps with a lot of other player the ball comes down to Wilson who is not balanced properly and he gets a foot to it but it floats Harmlessly across the goal and M. McNeil England clears up field.



C/U Two men in crowd. L/S England attacking Greaves out on his own Haffey runs out of goal. but Greaves lobs it over his head and it goes into the net - two-nil. M/S Crowd. L/S Scotland attacking McCann pushes the ball across to MacKay he shoots from well outside the Penalty box Springett goes down to save. C/U Boy in crowd. L/S Slow motion England attacking and England player tries a shot Haffey jumps and tips the ball over the bar. C/U People in crowd. L/S England attacking the ball is pushed forward to Smith he receives it. M/S Slow motion Smith with the ball he puts it across the goal Haffey misjudges it and Greaves runs in and casually kick the ball into the roof of the net three nil. L/S England players congratulating each other as Jimmy Greaves who had retrieved the ball from the next kicks it up field. L/S Crowd at half time. L/S England kicking off for the second half they do so. C/U Man in crowd. L/S Scotland attacking a Scottish player is fouled just outside the penalty area. C/U Scotsman expressing his views of the incident. L/S MacKay running up to take the free kick he kicks the ball is deflected by an England player and it beats Springett and goes in on the net - three one.



C/U Man and boy cheering. L/S England attacking Bobby Charlton with the ball he shoots from the edge of the box Haffey cannot hold it but manages to push it out and the Scots get it away. C/U Man biting fingernails. L/S A Scotland attacking McLeod with the ball he evades M. McNeil and centres Wilson runs onto it and heads it and the ball goes onto the net three-two. C/U Scotsman shouting. L/S England attacking the ball is passes to Haynes he very cleverly deflects it onto Charlton, Charlton shoots but the ball goes wide. C/U Man with very wry expression. L/S England attacking the ball comes to Smith he shoots from the edge of the box. and the ball flashes into the net five-two. C/U Man in crowd. L/S Scotland attacking the ball comes in from the right. M/S Slow motion the ball coming in Quinn gets to it he shoots Springett misses it and it goes between McNeil's legs and into the net five-three.



C/U Happy Scott jumping up and down. L/S Scotland attacking the ball is passed to Quinn. M/S Slow motion Quinn shoots and then St. John helps the ball on its way the ball beats Springett but M. McNeil clears. C/U man in crowd with expression of anguish. L/S England attacking Haynes has the ball he shoots from the edge of the box and the ball goes into the net Six-three C/U man looking Doleful and scratching his ear. L/S England attacking Greaves has the ball he takes it to the goaline and then passes back. L/S Scottish goal mouth as the ball rolls to another English player who passes it across for Haynes to run onto he shoots and the ball goes into the net seven-three. CU Man in crowd. L/S Scotland attacking the ball if centred from the left. M/S slow motion as the ball come in in Springett leaps gets a hand to it and catches it. C/U Worried Scotsman. C/U Greaves with the ball he beats Caldow W. McNeil tries to tackle him but can't get past him Haffey comes out of his goal and Greaves kicks the ball with the outside of his left foot the ball goes past Haffey and into the net eight-three. L/S Greaves with his arms round Smith's neck swinging from him on having completed his hat trick other players run forward to congratulate Greaves.



C/U Two men in crowd. L/S England attacking the ball comes to Smith who shoots and the ball goes into the net nine three Smith runs back and is congratulated by other English players among them Greaves and Haynes. C/U Sad Scotsmen. M/S Haynes walking forward to receive the international trophy he shakes hands with the Queen and is presented with the trophy.
