Eventing Camp at Hickstead - Day 1

The British Horse Society hosted a fantastic camp at the Hickstead showgrounds, which was the best opportunity for Amira and I to push ourselves!

On the first day, we had a jumping session to begin with where the Amira classic stops came out before she decided she would be brave enough to jump. I also developed some braveness of my own by using my whip to back up my leg more efficiently, even if it triggered a few bucks.

Stay tuned for day 2, where we start with arena cross country, followed by pilates for riders, and finishing with a flatwork session. Amira really found her feet and surprised everybody (including myself) during the cross country session!
