Ingredients

Toor Dal-1/2cup
Water-2cups
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Onion-1
Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Ginger-1/2 tsp
Garlic-1/2 tsp
Green chilli- 2
Tomato-1 small
Curry leaves -
Oil / Ghee-1 tbsp
Cumin seeds-2 pinch
Dry red chilli-3
Kasuri methi-1/2 tsp
Hing-pinch
Coriander leaves -
Salt -

Method
Cook washed dal and along with water and salt ..
In a kadai heat oil and add dry red chilli ..
Then splutter cumin seeds and curryleaves .
Now add finely chopped onions,ginger ,garlic ,kasuri methi,green chilli ..
Saute for few minutes .
Then add all powders and saute ..
Now add chopped tomato and close and cook ..
Then into that add cooked dal and mix..
u can add water if u want more gravy ..
Boil well ..
Then check the salt .. finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix ..
So enjoy the tasty and easy Dal fry
