Never turn on your canister filter if it has been off four hours. This is 101 level stuff. I did it anyways.
Then I had to act quick to recover the situation ASAP, with a couple of sides of pronto and posthaste. I didn't lose a single fish or shrimp, but this is only because I already had a clean filter, and I acted immediately upon making the mistake.
Also of note, at one point in this video the discus almost appear to be square dancing, for whatever that's worth to you. Thanks for stopping by.
