[Saturday, April 2nd, 2022] The Sixth Annual VSA By Night Culture Show: Many Voices, One Land - Nhiều Giọng Nói, Một Vùng Đất at the MSU Horticulture Gardens!

PERFORMANCE: Michigan State University Vietnamese Student Association Fashion Show
The fashion show is meant to showcase the traditional Vietnamese national clothing, the áo dài. It is a long, split tunic worn over trousers. “Áo” translates to shirt, and “Dài” means a "long" dress. Men and women often wear them for formal occasions like celebrating Tết but you can also find schoolgirls wearing white áo dài as uniforms too. A fun fact is that modern áo dài is inspired by Paris fashion!
