Malighati Dakhina Kali Part _2
About a hundred years ago, the late Chunilal Ghosh, a resident of Beliachandi, (P.S . – Jaynagar, South 24 Parganas , West Bengal, India) established this Kali Mandir in the village of Malighati, P.S . – Jaynagar, South 24 Parganas , West Bengal, India. At present it is known as Malighati Kali Mandir. The late Chunilal Ghosh appointed the Brahmins of the Beliachandi Bhadra family as the priests of this temple. From that time till today the Brahmins of this family have been serving as priest in the temple. Those Brahmins are – late Batakrishna Bhadra , lateKichori Mohan Bhadra, Tuhin Bhadra, Tilak Bhadra, Tamal Bhadra & Tufan Bhadra .

Along with the kali temple, there is a temple of Mahadev and a resting place for the devotees. At present this temple has become a place of pilgrimage for Hindus.
