Singapore offers to host Apec summit in 2030 to support inclusive growth

Singapore has offered to host the Apec summit in 2030, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced on 16 November. Highlighting Apec’s role in fostering global cooperation, he reaffirmed Singapore’s commitment to support its initiatives.

Singapore last hosted the summit in 2009, with a budget of over S$100 million for year-long events.
