Plug in the cord to the 2016 Chevy Malibu’s USB port and your phone. Now, that projection icon on the MyLink screen will display Apple CayPlay. Your iPhone’s screen will display the same. Now you can put your phone away, there’s need to look at it now.

Simply tap the Apple CarPlay icon on the screen and there is the extension of your iPhone right there on your Chevy Malibu dash. This will allow you to ask Siri for directions in Apple Maps, send text messages, listen to music, and access your phones contacts list.
