ABS Circuit C1300 Fault on a 09 Ford F150

Ron Ananian The Car Doctor™ is in the shop with a 2009 Ford F150 trying to figure out why the ABS pump is not operating. The fault code that Ron has received is an ABS Circuit C1300, which is defined as an ABS hydraulic pump circuit fault.

Ron starts by checking the electrical wiring going to the pump. He has some electrical diagrams available for reference, including a diagram of the wiring harness, indicating what each pin in the harness is for. He methodically tests each using a volt meter and a headlight, proving that he has power and ground. Ron discovers that there is an internal problem in the ABS pump assembly, which has to be replaced.
