Sew Sunday 11/3/24 Fun Flower Table Runner

In today's video we use Scrap Jelly Roll Strips. Taking 24 different 2.5" strips cut to 16.5". Then sew them together end to end. After that cut off 5.5" from one end of the long strip. Align up the 2 ends and sew together in a Jelly Roll Race fashion. Once to the end cut and press to one side and start over by aligning the 2 ends and sew down the long seam. Once to the end then cut and start over aligning the ends once again and sewing down the long seam. You should have 8 across. Then press and trim to what size you can get between 46" and 47" or so inches long. Then take your flower applique design and adhere to some wonder under. Cut out 3 flowers from your 9"x27" piece of flower fabric and then from a 5" x 8" scrap make your 3 circles. Then adhere them to your quilt wherever you think pleases you. Last step is to applique them to the quilt. Once done then quilt and bind the Table Runner. For the binding you need 1/3 fabric cut to 4- 2.5" strips for binding. ENJOY!!!!!!
