Superman Serial Film Retrospective (1948 & 1950)

Superman's first ever live action appearance was in the 1948 Serial Film titled "Superman," which was followed by a second serial film titled "Atom Man vs. Superman." If you're a fan of Superman but not familiar with what a Serial Film is, this retrospective video will explain that. These serials about the Man of Steel include appearances by Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Lex Luthor, Ma and Ma Kent, Jor-el, Lara, and some original characters like Spider Lady. These serials star actors Kirk Alyn, Noel Neill, Tommy Bond, Pierre Watkin, and Lyle Talbot. Yes, they’re in black and white.
