Superman Movie Serials vs Captain Marvel 1941

This video puts the Superman movie serials starring Kirk Alyn up vs the Republic's Adventures of Captain Marvel 1941 starring Tom Tyler. I take a look at Superman's powers and abilities as compared to Captain Marvel's who has been also known to go by Shazam and now "The Captain" in a 2023 comic book. I also look at how each movie serial used special effects to simulate their superhero's powers of flight and invulnerability. I also look at which superhero stuck to the superhero code of conduct more accurately from the comics. I take a look at some goofs in plot and effects that are visible in the final cut and finally I go over what happened to the actors of the Superman movie serials from 1948 and 1950 Kirk Alyn, Tommy Bond, and Noel Neill, and the actors Tom Tyler and Frank Coghlan Jr. from the Adventures of Captain Marvel.
