This fall Strength for Skaters is stoked to bring you Form & Force, a bodyweight conditioning program designed to increase your power and explosiveness on skates!

Form & Force starts LIVE on the Yoga for Skaters Patreon on Tuesday Sept. 3rd. For this program we will meet live twice a month - September, October and November – for a 30-minute workout with Ace. Use the pair of workouts throughout the month to hone your skills and technique while also feeling your progress when it comes to powerful, explosive movements.

This program is focused on improving your form for bodyweight strength exercises so that you can get the most out of your movements. When we utilize our strength efficiently through good form, we increase our power to jump higher, pump stronger, skate faster and for derby skaters, hit more effectively.

Specifically, form refers to our focus on bodyweight strength and skill building. Some bodyweight skills and drills you will see in this program include: handstand & push-up variations as well as bodyweight core/balance drills to get you connected to your own strength for confidence on all eight wheels.

Force refers to our focus on explosive/power exercises for strong and responsive quick-twitch muscles. Think intervals and plyometrics for crisp hits, tight tricks and sharp spins!
