Making S&OP Work, Part 2: The Monthly Cycle

Описание к видео Making S&OP Work, Part 2: The Monthly Cycle

Doug Dedman outlines the monthly steps in the S&OP process, and how to apply them to your business. One of the key concepts is determining who is responsible, and who is accountable for each step in the cycle. By deciding this, everybody is aware of their roles and knows who is involved with what. Having this common understanding throughout your company ensures that everyone prepares their parts for the monthly meetings and allows operations to run smoothly.

Additionally, Doug talks about the importance of having goals, and a checklist prepared for each meeting, so that your whole team knows what is expected to be prepared beforehand and knows what outcomes they should be working towards. Adherence to participation, data, and schedule will make sure everybody contributes to their role and stays disciplined to the monthly cycle.
