Tim Thomas (35pts, 13/19 FG) vs. Lakers (2005)

Описание к видео Tim Thomas (35pts, 13/19 FG) vs. Lakers (2005)

Tim Thomas's second best career outing in points and his high during his stint with the New York Knicks. The game came after Thomas had rebounded from a subpar start to the season for which he was reportedly booed at the Madison Square Garden. Apparently Thomas had some personal problems during that time period.

You can see the devastating nature of his talent in this performance. He can space out the court, drive past bigger guys if they have to pick him up far from the basket or post up smaller guys and shoot over them. Plenty of his signature fadeaway shots from the left block are made in this game. By the way, I cannot put my finger on what makes them so unique. Is it the way he contorts his body? He seems to fall back only with his shoulders, yet raises the ball straight up so that it isn't even released that far away from the defender. Either way, when you see it, you recognize it as Tim Thomas's shot. February 28, 2005.
