Christine Assouad launched Dunkin’ Donuts in Lebanon almost 2
decades ago and continues to serve as CEO. With around 35+
locations, the operation is a success story and received several awards.
She also supported Dunkin’ in many international markets:
Germany, Italy, Kuwait, Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
In 2008, Semsom was born, to take Lebanese cuisine to the world.
Semsom landed in Dubai, Ras el Khaimah, Muscat, Suhar, Cairo and more cities on the way!
She also works as a consultant to create Food & Beverage brands.

Since 2010, she has been mentoring young
entrepreneurs with a main focus on strategy and growth.

Christine graduated with a BSc. Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from
AUB (Beirut), a MSc. in Food Science from McGill University
(Montreal), a Masters in Marketing from ESA (Beirut) and attended YPO executive programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford School of Business and London Business School.
She is an active member of the Young President Organization (YPO) and is part of many business organizations including LFA, RDCL, LLWB…
She was awarded the Middle East businesswomen of the year in 2011, became a fellow at the Culinary Institute of America in 2015, where she gave a commencement speech that year, and was listed in the 100 most powerful Arab women by Arabian Business and Forbes Middle East since 2012.
