Amidst the cold and rain of the GP Monseré, TDT-Unibet faced adversity from the outset as rider Davide Bomboi's illness forced him to sit out the race. Despite their absence in the breakaway, the team's resilience shone through in the late stages, with Hartthijs de Vries launching a bold solo attack, earning him the title of most combative rider. Eventually, Hartthijs got reeled back into the peloton, where his teammate Axel Huens was waiting for him. In the chaotic finale, Axel suffered a harsh fall, leaving Hartthijs to navigate the sprint alone.
